The Panasonic SD-PM1003 mixes, kneads, rises and bakes at the press of a single button. Behind that simplicity are two high-precision temperature sensors that read both your kitchen and the pan itself, adjusting the programme so a loaf baked on a cold morning comes out like one baked on a warm afternoon. A separate yeast dispenser releases the yeast at exactly the right moment rather than mixing it in at the start — the single biggest factor in a consistent, even rise.
With 29 programmes it goes well beyond bread: pizza and dumpling dough, Japanese ramen noodles, cake, scones, jam, mochi — and additive-free ice cream in 25 minutes — this requires the SD-9F01 Ice Cream Container, which is sold separately and not included.
Please note: the SD-9F01 Ice Cream Container is sold separately and is NOT included with this bread maker. The ice cream programme can only be used with that accessory, which fits the SD-PM1003 only.

Care Instructions:
- Remove the bread pan and kneading blade after each use and wash them in warm soapy water. Do not put them in a dishwasher.
- Wipe the yeast and raisin/nut dispensers clean and dry them fully before the next bake — damp residue causes the dispenser to stick.
- Let the unit cool completely before cleaning. Never immerse the main body in water.
- Wipe the interior and lid with a soft damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners, scourers and solvents.
- Check the kneading blade turns freely on its shaft before each use and remove any dried dough.
- Store with the lid closed in a dry place, away from direct heat.
Yes. The SD-PM1003 runs on 220–240V, 50/60Hz and is supplied with a 3-pin plug that is compatible and compliant for UK use. No adaptor or voltage converter is required.
The bread pan takes up to 300g of flour, which produces a compact loaf suited to one to three people. It is designed to bake a fresh loaf at a time rather than store bread for the week.
