Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Use only potable tap water in the raw water tank; do not use mineral, sparkling or flavoured water.
- Clean the raw water tank regularly with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Follow the filter lifetime display and replace the FIST(FOF) filter when indicated or if water flow significantly decreases.
- Allow the automatic filter flush cycle to complete as scheduled to maintain RO performance.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning, moving or when not used for an extended period.
- If the unit will not be used for a long time, empty the tanks, drain remaining water and allow the interior to dry.
Boiling can kill many microorganisms but does not remove dissolved solids, heavy metals or chemicals. RO filtration removes very fine impurities (down to 0.0001 μm), including heavy metals, pesticides, VOCs and hardness, providing cleaner-tasting water even before heating.
Filter life depends on usage and local water quality. The unit shows a filter lifetime display to remind you when replacement is due. Follow this indicator and the user manual for best performance.
The RO system and UVC-LED help provide very clean water, and the preset mid-temperature ranges are convenient for formula preparation. However, always follow baby formula manufacturer guidelines and, if required, allow water to cool to the recommended temperature before mixing.
The UVC-LED has a long service life and is designed for maintenance-free use under normal conditions. If the unit reports any UV-related error, please contact Toshiba service for inspection.
